Jackson Jekyll

First of all I want to apologize for it being a while since I've posted. I have decided instead of posting every day I will be doing a weekly post featuring one or multiple things.

This year there was a wave of four new signature dolls that come with pets of their own along with their own diaries. Two of these dolls came out earlier in the year, and two came out in the later half of the year. One of the dolls to come out in the earlier part is one of the few boys to get dolls, Jackson Jekyll .

Jackson Jekyll is a special doll, because they follow the theme of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Jackson's alter ego in the Monster High world is Holt Hyde, which came out with the first couple waves and is said to be scheduled for a re-release this year. Both Jackson and Holt come with crossfade the chameleon, though his coloring is different between the dolls. As with all the Monster High signature dolls, he comes with a diary of his own and a stand however he does not come with a brush of his own. With how hard his hair is though because of the hair spray they use, the brush isn't needed at all. Another difference is the stand for the doll, it has a wider holder at the top to accommodate the wider width of the doll. Jackson has the same amazing quality that all of the monster high dolls have, with nods to the character he is based off of. For one thing 'Mad Science' is listed as his favorite subject which is a nod to Dr. Jekyll, and one o the other biggest nods is the ying yang symbol that is on his messenger bag. Yin Yangs are a symbol of light and dark in balance, which is how Jekyll and Hyde are, a light and dark in balance with one another.

I highly recommend getting this doll, and as soon as you can. They are saying he is going to become harder and harder to find in stores because they will no longer get shipments with him in them. That's all for this week, stay tune next week for more Monster High goodies! Also keep any eye on the blog, I will be adding more and more features that I'm sure you'll like!
